Found in Translation is a documentary on the topic of linguistic realized during the 2008 Italian Language Week in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of New York. What processes are triggered when you learn a second language? Why some second language's words become taboo? The documentary tells how language is an element of the culture of the people. Learning a second language changes your mentality. It analyzes the course of this change through the contribution of academics and the personal experiences of bilinguals that speak Italian as first or second language.
